BIO: Eric Sutfin is a seasoned global remote worker with a career built in the marketing and promotion of destinations, leading hospitality brands, and experiences. His current venture, ZEAL Remote, serves to attract the emerging digital nomad to more sustainable and immersive experiences locally where they live and work.

Eric has a home base in Denver, Colorado where he spent recent years advocating for partners across the tourism landscape. He founded the International Tourism Resource Network and has assembled a team at ZEAL that is now uniting a community of global remote workers in contemporary new ways. In everything he does, Eric seeks synergies between the power of social networks, brands, products, services, and destinations to celebrate fostering the resilient tourism industry he loves.

ZEAL STORY: With a passion for inspiring and creating impact through travel Eric runs Social Capital Agency (SoCap) to serve lifestyle, hospitality brands, and destinations. Actively living the digital nomad lifestyle remote working across Latin America while running his agency he saw firsthand how properties and destinations were serving the leisure traveler but missing serving the extended stay traveler. As COVID hit Eric and his partner spent months in the Riviera Maya of Mexico supporting brands reopening while creating a community of brands across the hospitality and tourism industry to share best practices through the International Tourism & Resource Network (ITRN).

With their experience and network, they quickly saw the marketing campaigns and services they were supporting the industry had the ability to be translated across regions and destinations as employees, employers, and destinations alike struggled to adapt to the new future of work ecosystem. Thus, ZEAL was born with the experience, network and community of brands, travel writers, influencers, and destinations that collectively assist a more easily and effectively transition into remote working globally.

ZEAL now has many actively engaged parties across remote communities like Noma Collective, WeWorkRemotely job boards, and remote policy advocates like #WorkAnywhere to the brands, products, and services that enable travelers to work remotely from Flow and TravelWiFi to Xebec tri screens, Tripped Travel Gear, and Core First workout bands. Empowering members to share their crowdsourced media, tips, and tricks to enable others to more easily live and work from anywhere we are the only platform that rewards social contribution and social capital to further their active remote lifestyle. Partnering with destinations we assist our members to tap into the local culture in a matter of days instead of weeks by personalizing recommendations to fit their lifestyle from their stays, dining, events and experiences to encourage them to stay for weeks or months at a time.
